As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME), you will be responsible for the leadership, supervision and coordination of the activities in the assigned area to ensure that work is completed, efficiently, safely and on time and to ensure customer expectations are met across the QantasLink Dash 8 Line Maintenance operation in Brisbane. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team of LAME's and AME's that will carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with QantasLink safety standards, procedures and the Civil Aviation Regulations. You'll have - Hold a current CASA Part 66 Licence on Dash 8 100/200/300/Q400 or a similar aircraft in the Avionics (B2) category. Aircraft servicing experience on various turboprop aircraft in a line maintenance environment Commitment to be a customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required Prepared to step-up to more senior roles at short notice when required; Thorough knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures; Sound communications skills, both written and verbal with exceptional attention to detail Highly self-motivated with the ability to work well under a high level of pressure with minimal supervision and a 'can do attitude'. Flexibility with the ability to meet changing departmental requirements Ability to travel, if needed, for duty to assist other ports Ability to work in an ever changing and adapting work environment Hold a valid driving licence and ability to obtain an Airside Drivers Licence Ability to work 7-day, 24 hour shift work; and Clear understanding of the importance of on time performance to the airline.
