We are working closely with our respected clients with exciting opportunities for Site Engineers to join one of their rewarding projects on a full time permanent basis. Our clients specialise in road construction & large infrastructure projects, and sub-divisions, working closely with land developers, local government and State and Federal governments. We are currently seeking experienced Civil Site Engineers for a project located in the Toowoomba region. The successful candidates will be required to deliver project engineering works effectively to meet agreed scope, timeframe, budget, quality, and safety standards. Job Details Reporting to the Project Manager, these are permanent full-time positions on a 5/2 roster, Monday to Friday with uplifts included in package. Salary will be $100k-$120k Site uplift of 15%-25% Accommodation will be provided for non Toowoomba locals The nature of Works for this 2022 flood recovery project include sealed and unsealed pavements, drainage reconstruction, and new culverts and floodways. Works are scheduled for completion in Oct2024. Key role tasks: · Plan, design, document and manage construction activities and processes; · Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services; · Implement measures to sustain and improve the performance of your team to deliver effective and efficient work outcomes; · Manage and monitor resources for the project; · Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients; · Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation; · Complete reporting requirements for financial, operating and survey needs of the site; · Comply with health and safety requirements and promote a work environment which reflects this behaviour; Key capability requirements: · Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential; · Demonstrated analytical and design skills; · Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works; · Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) demonstrating the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders and clients; · Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors; · Strong level of computer skills, including Microsoft, Suretrak / Primavera and AutoCAD applications; · Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork; · Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
