The ideal candidate will have a passion for exploring novel RF solutions to maximize the data throughput of our satellite payloads. Reporting to the Head of Satellite & Mission, the Team Lead RF Communications Engineer will work closely with various teams beyond RF including: mechanical, PCB electronics and antenna engineering teams as well as with the Product and Regulatory teams, to ensure that all projects are aligned with company goals and objectives. As a key member of the satellite team, you will act as an interface between different groups to ensure smooth communication and collaboration, driving the projects to a successful conclusion. The role requires strong leadership skills, overseeing a small team of engineers, providing vision for the group and RF solutions for the company, mentorship, and assuring all projects are properly staffed and meeting their deadlines with world class solutions. In addition to managing the team, you will be deeply involved in implementing new technologies and ideas into useful and efficient products.
