About the Role: Origin Energy are seeking a skilled Senior Controls & Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security at our Generation Sites. Your role will involve applying cybers security principles to improve safety, plant integrity, and optimisation in line with Origin's objectives. As a member of the Controls and Cyber Security Engineering Team, you will maintain and enhance OT cyber security practices for Origin's Generation fleet. This includes evaluating and implementing cyber security measures, educating team members and onsite personnel on suitable practices. Responsibilities: Demonstrate and support a commitment to safety and risk management through personal actions, role modelling and leadership Excel in the provision of OT cyber security engineering support to site and all relevant groups within Origin generation group Evaluate and provide timely solutions for cyber security threats and vulnerabilities Respond efficiently to high priority alerts and provide expert guidance during a cyber security incident Represent the Generation Business as the cyber security SME and ensure compliance with AESCSF requirements Develop and present materials on cyber security projects, requirements, risks, and initiatives Apply engineering principles and use data acquisition systems to drive decision making for OT cyber security Improve or develop OT cyber security procedures and practices Demonstrate commitment to safety and risk management What you will bring: Accredited degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Control Engineering 3 years of experience in Industrial Process Control Systems and OT Cyber Security Knowledge of Cyber Security codes, practices, and legislative requirements Proficient in networking, virtual infrastructure hosting, and deployment Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels, with the ability to work independently Strong commitment to continuous improvement and safety So, why join us?
