We are seeking applications for 2 key positions in our Water Technology Group, based in Melbourne or Geelong. Technical Director - Water and Wastewater Treatment A Technical Leader in Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, with expert experience (15 or more years) in water treatment, desalination, wastewater treatment or waste-to-energy, to utilise their expertise to drive the strategic development and continued growth of our team's capabilities, and the delivery of proposals, studies and technical design. You'll bring an appetite for business development, strong client relationships and a passion for building a high performing team. You'll understand client and project technical requirements, develop solutions, and be an active team member in the preparation of multi-disciplinary strategies, investigations and designs. Engineer / Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Treatment A Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineer at Intermediate or Senior level with project management, design or planning experience (3 or more years) in water treatment or wastewater treatment, to join us to support work a diverse range of projects and with a broad range of clients within the Victorian, national and international water industry. These diverse and exciting positions will see you involved in: Working with the water industry's broad range of clients, and with GHD's national and international projects. Providing advice and coordination of resources on a diverse range of projects in the water sector, including advanced water treatment and desalination plants, wastewater treatment, recycling, and waste-to-energy facilities. Delivering and supporting various and significant Victorian, Australian and international water and wastewater treatment projects, by understanding clients' needs, providing technical guidance and support to the project team for medium to large scale projects (capex > $100m) Assisting the Business Group Leader and senior staff in identifying and realising business opportunities and setting future directions for the group Leading and supporting project design and documentation Delivery and support for technical reports and specifications, client proposals and presentations What would you bring to the team? Relevant experience in a Civil, Mechanical or Chemical engineering role Expertise in water treatment, desalination, wastewater treatment or waste-to-energy Experience in the development of engineering drawings and in the use of design software Leadership and collaboration skills, along with a willingness and ability to be a mentor or mentee Willingness to contribute to and lead business development activities backed by an active professional network Project management or project support experience Interested?
