We are seeking applications for 2 key positions in our Water Infrastructure Group, based in Melbourne, Geelong or Traralgon. Technical Director - Water Infrastructure A Technical Leader with expert experience (15 or more years) in water infrastructure such as pipelines, pump stations and water storage facilities, to utilise their expertise to drive the strategic development and continued growth of our team's capabilities, and the delivery of proposals, studies and technical design. You'll bring an appetite for business development, strong client relationships and a passion for building a high performing team. You'll understand client and project technical requirements, develop solutions, and be an active team member in the preparation of multi-disciplinary strategies, investigations and designs. Civil Engineer (Intermediate or Senior) - Water Infrastructure A Civil Engineer with project management, design and planning experience (3 or more years) in Water Infrastructure such as pipelines, pump stations and water storage facilities to join us to support work a diverse range of projects and with a broad range of clients within the Victorian, national and international water industry. These diverse and exciting positions will see you involved in: Working with the water industry's broad range of clients, and with GHD's national and international projects. Coordinating resources, oversight of budgets and supervision of timelines to provide quality and timely project completion of multi-disciplinary design teams. Delivering or assisting with proposals and presentations to clients to win work. Providing advice and coordination of resources on a diverse range of projects in the water sector Producing design drawings, reports, specifications, tender and technical documents for water infrastructure projects, including assets like pipelines, pump stations, storage facilities & other assets Planning and options assessment studies such as network master plans, strategic planning. Site surveillance works such as inspecting works completion, and superintending services. What would you bring to the team? Experience in a civil engineering role that includes design of water infrastructure assets, such as water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations and storages Planning skills including strategic water planning and modelling software experience. Experience in the development of engineering drawings and in the use of civil design software Leadership and collaboration skills, along with a willingness and ability to be a mentor or mentee Project management or project support experience Interested?
