They are passionate about living and breathing their 4 Core Values which are at the heart of their culture: Go Further Thrive Together Move with Velocity Have Fun The Role: The position for hire is a ICT Support Engineer and will be for a full time basis at $70,000 to $75,000 per annum, and will be based at their Melbourne CBD office. The Responsibilities: Schedule and conduct quality audit inspections on systems, data, and documentation. Identify variations and potential high-risk areas, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures. Recommend corrective action plans and improvements to address non-compliance issues. Communicate, educate, and liaise with users and management to ensure awareness and adherence to standards, procedures, and quality control. Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and resolving system problems and issues. Develop, conduct, and provide technical guidance and training in application software and operational procedures. Analyse and evaluate technical problems related to desktops, software, hardware, printers, Internet, email, databases, operating systems, and security systems. Test, identify, and diagnose functionality errors and faults in systems and programming code within established testing protocols. Perform organizational systems architecture reviews and assessments. Recommend current and future hardware and software strategies and directions. Create and review technical documentation, including procedural, instructional, and operational guides and manuals, technical reports, and specifications. Maintain inventory systems for hardware and software. Provide support to users, addressing queries and issues related to ICT systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and integration of ICT systems. The Requirements: Bachelor degree in Information Technology At least 2 years of relevant experience in the ICT industry At least 2 years previous experience in a MSP (Managed Services Provider) At least 2 years of experience in conducting quality audit inspections and ensuring adherence to standards and procedures At least 2 years' experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to desktops, software, hardware, printers, Internet, email, databases, operating systems, and security systems Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols. Must have experience with Network security, LAN and WAN experience Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources. Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization. A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
