The Project Engineer will generally provide support to all Project Delivery activities undertaken by the Project Delivery Team. The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager to ensure the engineering and procurement functions within projects are coordinated as well as liaise with vendors for package information and Requests for Quotations and tender evaluations. You will be responsible for: Management of RFI and RFQ process related to specific projects, Management of procurement in accordance with the project procurement schedule. Completing material and service requisitions Working with procurement officers to expedite and control materials and packages Vendor Liaison Assisting the Project Manager with scheduling functions. Coordination of engineering interfaces and obtaining engineering progress for project reporting Providing support to a single or multiple Projects depending on the needs at the time. The management and execution of small low complexity projects as they arise within the business To be successful in this role, you will have: 5 years' experience in a project engineering or mechanical package engineer role preferably within an engineering / EPcM or OEM background The ability to meet deadlines to ensure project deliverables and procurement activities remain on schedule. A willingness to learn and operate project specific systems and software Experience with tendering, bid evaluation and contract conformance. Highly attuned communication skills.
