Environmental Engineer We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer with a proven background in mining/hydrology who is ready to join a team of dedicated, passionate professionals in our South Australian office. As an Environmental Engineer, you will work with a variety of great clients, including Tier 1 through to junior mining companies, in diverse sectors such as renewables and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in assessing and mitigating the environmental impact of mining activities primarily in the planning and approvals area. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions that align with industry best practices and ensure State, Commonwealth and other regulatory requirements are met. Qualifications and Experience • 10 years' experience • Prior participation in mining approvals and/or hydrology • Skilled in establishing reporting standards, formats and frequency • Experience with consolidating/preparing/collating and presenting of project, financial and other reports • Background in high valued, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to close out • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a deliverables-driven approach • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to deal with staff at different levels of seniority • Well-developed communication skills The Role • Contribute to the delivery of projects in a fast paced, consulting environment • Organise and track a variety of tasks, actions and deliverables as part of a wider environmental team • Work with a team of hydrologist and hydrogeologist to assist in mine planning and approvals • Confirm progress measurement and earned value methodology and initiate progress reporting • Confirm change management philosophy • Confirm periodic reporting requirements including the content, format and frequency and initiate periodic reporting Don't meet every single requirement?
