PERSOLKELLY is seeking Devops / Sr Devops Engineer to join one of their Global Mining Client based in PERTH DevOps Engineers are vital to driving continuous improvement and are often required to propose, implement, and maintain automation tools and processes to increase efficiency across the entire product lifecycle. Senior DevOps Engineers are expected to contribute to the design and development of the solutions we are responsible for and to play and important role in the mentorship of more junior team members. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Design and automate Internal IT Systems. Design and deployment of internal development and test environments. Develop automation of product deployment and configuration activities. Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to development teams for creating continuous build and integration pipelines. Aid in identifying and defining internal process improvements (e.g., automating environment creation, artefact versioning and packaging, product deployment, etc.). Automation of creation, configuration and maintenance of development and test environments using Ansible and Terraform. Collaborate with test and development teams to integrate frameworks and tools for continuous unit and integration testing, and automated acceptance testing. Work with architects to design highly available, scalable and secure infrastructure to support production deployments. Ensure consistent and responsive internal IT services to development teams and report usage and licensing costs to management. Design and develop software packaging and configuration systems for automated application deployment. Design and develop monitoring, logging, visualisation and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of production services. Create and maintain operating system and container images for use internally and by on-site networks. What are we looking for?
