Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer you would be is accountable for developing daily and weekly schedules that are in-line with the monthly schedule and will achieve monthly targets. This is to be completed through detailed planning, engaging stakeholders, understanding of monthly schedules, projects and costs, dump construction methodologies and long-term strategies. Driving processes that involve validating inputs and reconciling previous performance is the responsibility of the engineer and are an integral of the planning process to ensuring the most efficient plan can be developed. These include the short term dump design process and weekly reconciliation process. About the role: Creation of weekly schedules and assisting with monthly scheduling. Provide guidance for other technical staff, planners and support at planning meetings. Liaise with MRM maintenance and contractor maintenance to optimise equipment maintenance scheduling. Process owner for short term dump design work and inspection processes. Responsible for ensuring the weekly reconciliation meeting figures are correct and updated. Liaising with the projects team to coordinate resources and communicate requirements and interactions at a monthly and weekly level. Understanding monthly dumping sequence, EIS projects and dumping construction methodologies to assist in managing priorities, resources and interactions. Ensuring all designs uploaded to Engineering Master have followed the correct process and signoffs. Roster and Location: 15 days on, 13 days off Based at McArthur River Mine, NT. About You: Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Mining or similar relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. Demonstrated knowledge of mining engineering systems in open pit metalliferous mines that includes a minimum of three years' experience.
