The role As part of our Maritime group, the CSI-IPT Systems Security Engineer will support the Cyberworthiness objectives for the DDG CSI Program, including: Integrate Cyberworthiness considerations into the engineering effort for systems, subsystems and networks Contribute to ICT, Emanation or Physical security certification and accreditation activities throughout the engineering lifecycle Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle Identify, define, and analyse system security requirements Plan and conduct security Test and Evaluation activities Prepare and develop security documentation to support system authorisation. Further, the successful candidate will: Define the security requirements for the system, subsystems and components Review system, subsystem and component design artefacts Liaise with Australian Defence Security Authorities Produce/maintain security documentation to support achieving ICT, Emanation and Physical Security accreditation of the systems and networks Develop and maintain good working relationships with the relevant stakeholders Other security related tasks at the direction of the DDG CSI Security Assurance Lead Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role. About you Your skills and experience will include: Significant experience with the systems engineering life-cycle and methodologies. Significant experience in reviewing, interpreting and implementing Information Security Manual or NIST SP 800 53 controls Experience in interpreting security requirements, analysing and recommending security measures and policies Experience in the design and implementation of ICT security policies Experience with Security Information and Event Management Tools and analytics Significant experience in the evaluation of ICT infrastructure (Hardware/Software) configurations for security vulnerabilities Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 clearance.
