The Role: Our client is looking for Aerospace Engineers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. They are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a stable, established and well respected leading organisation in Defence. Based out of Enoggera Brisbane, this role will see you take on a range of tasks including providing expert engineering advice, designing, and conducting test activities as well as reviewing and producing engineering documents to support UAS platforms. What will I be doing: Manage configuration of UAS platform(s) Conduct Technical Information Review (TIR), and respond to RFIs and Engineering Advice Requests (EARs) IAW timeframe requirements Review and provide feedback on Contracted Industry Partner deliverables. Conduct technical investigations Develop and release deviations, modifications and STIs Update technical publications, including the IETM and AAPs Assist in the transition of UAS materiel from acquisition to sustainment Monitor and ensure safety aspects of materiel systems are considered and incorporated into all activities Consider logistic impacts and liaise with LOG staff ISO engineering tasks Conduct administration, briefing, correspondence, training and stakeholder liaison activities Experience Required: Experience within a government or Defence environment Bachelors degree in Engineering Previous experience with UAS (desirable) Experience with CASA & DASA regulations Strong communication skills Completed (or able to complete) all training courses to effectively execute the position and to hold the required EA.
