Position Overview:We are seeking both Junior and Senior DevOps Engineers to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on exciting projects within the Defence industry, leveraging your expertise in Infrastructure as Code and Containerisation. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of interactive modeling and simulation applications, making it ideal for individuals with a background in game development who are seeking new challenges. Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines for efficient software delivery.- Implement and manage container orchestration solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and stability.- Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline, following DevSecOps principles.- Provide support for troubleshooting and issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle. Qualifications and Skills:- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code principles, particularly using Terraform.- Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible for configuration management.- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins and/or Gitlab.- In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.- Proficient in Python for scripting and automation tasks.- Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is desirable.- Previous experience in a DevSecOps environment is a plus.- Knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript is beneficial.
