Due to a committed extensive pipeline of work, we require a full-time permanent (hybrid) Project Engineer in our team. The role is providing quality delivery across NBN Fixed Wireless Telecommunications projects. Primarily Upgrade works with Greenfield work on the horizon, this project involves the entire end to end process including site acquisition, design and build. The role will focus on the build component and planning associated with it. What's on offer Hybrid role offering flexibility Salary up to $132,000 TFR (based on skillset and experience) Career stability and growth opportunities Employee benefits such as corporate travel discounts, Novated leases, private health discounts, credit discounts and more Access to a variety of Health and Wellness initiatives - including the EAP, Ventia's Healthy Minds program and Healthy Bodies program What you will be doing Ensuring project / contract milestones are delivered on time and in budget Perform site review and construction planning Preparation of quotes for client and finalise quotes for billing Prepare and order BOM, steel, labels and materials required for build projects Coordinate and book outages and RIC resources Arrange site permits and coordinate plant and equipment required for each site Coordinating quality audits Engage with field resources both internal and subcontractors for civil, electrical and build work. Negotiate pricing with suppliers and request purchase orders Close out hand over packs, final bill of material / bill of quantities with the client About you It is essential that you have Wireless Telecommunications experience and previous experience in planning or construction of radio access networks (NBN, transmission, mobile). Previous experience with installing mobile infrastructure (Upgrades / Greenfields) as a rigger / technician and looking to kick start your career as a Project Engineer will be considered.
