N Position Type Management Shift Engineer Technician - Permanent full time position - 38 hours per week - $70,700 - $72,000 per year superannuation - Location: Adelaide We are looking for a Shift Engineer Technician for our business Adelaide Marriott Hotel. The position will report to the Chief Engineer and will be responsible for the following: - Assist in maintaining the Day-to-day system operation and maintenance routines of the Marriott property - Oversee preventative maintenance repairs with direction from the Engineering manager - Liaise with contractors and suppliers for equipment and relationship building - Manage the engineering maintenance team, supporting them with operational tasks - Actively identify, conduct and manage repairs to the building and equipment - Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings - Oversee building & service standards and identify and implement creative improvement initiatives, setting the pace in the industry - Be a strong supervisor by providing motivation and support to the associates Successful applicants must have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance, property maintenance in hotels, facilities, residential or commercial.? - Enthusiastic to escalate your career - Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment - Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude - strong communication and interpersonal skills - strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
