About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Integrity Engineer to join the Santos team. Based at our offices in Brisbane, this position reports to the Team Leader Engineering - Integrity and will be responsible for preventing loss of containment and uncontrolled energy release incidents. Key accountabilities include: Development, maintaining, optimisation and technical ownership of Integrity Management Plans and maintenance strategies of pressure vessels, tanks, and pipework. Advise on implementation of and compliance to regulatory, industry and company standards and codes - reporting on compliance. Develop work scopes for integrity-related preventative and corrective maintenance activities (inspections, repairs, replacements) Identify and develop integrity risk mitigation measures. Conduct Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments and provide recommendations to maximise service life. Investigate and report on operational issues and integrity threats, including root cause analysis of failures. Use asset management toolset, including CMMS, the relevant integrity management system, and other business tools, to track and manage asset health. Provide discipline guidance for fit-for-purpose design during FEED to ensure integrity can be maintained for the asset life cycle. Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensure reporting is completed as per business demands. Provide input into the development and updates of Santos Engineering Standards Perform role of discipline Technical Authority Actively mentor graduate and junior engineers Champion change and foster a high-performance culture About You Holding a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, as well as Chartered Engineer status and RPEQ, the ideal candidate will possess significant experience of having operated within a high-pressure hydrocarbon operating environment. You will also demonstrate a high level of proficiency in risk management, and NDE techniques (their application and limitations), and relevant repair strategies. In addition, you will be familiar with the development and application of risk-based inspection programs, as well as the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). A knowledge of relevant industry standards AS1210, AS3788, API 653, API 579, etc is essential, as is demonstrable experience of Root Cause Analysis (RCA). This role will suit candidates from a facilities or static / mechanical engineering background with experience of having worked in a complex team dynamic.
