About the role Ventia are growing their Sustainability Services team and are seeking a talented Senior Sustainability Engineer to share their expertise on green buildings, renewable energy, and identifying innovative ‘future-proof’ solutions. An exciting position for someone who is passionate about sustainable engineering to work across Government contracts within Ventia. This is a permanent full-time position that can be based in any Australian capital city, preferably Adelaide. Benefits: A secure, permanent, full-time opportunity. Duties: Accurately prepare feasibility studies and technical resource efficiency reports including cost identified opportunities and solutions. Conduct robust analysis and develop innovative solutions. Assist with the completion of NABERS ratings and assessment of building designs/performance against Green Star Buildings/Performance Categories and Credits. Provide subject matter expertise around building engineering services, renewable energy systems, and sustainability rating tools. Keep up to date with changing legislation and industry trends to support the delivery to clients. Own and maintain client relationships and be the key liaison person for strategic advisory services. Support all client and internal audits. About You Relevant training and qualifications in Building Services Engineering or related discipline. NABERS Accredited Assessor (highly regarded). A background in energy efficiency with solid commercial understanding. Excellent research, analytical, technical report writing skills. Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level. Must be an Australian Citizen (due to security requirements) and be willing to undergo Baseline Security Clearance process for Federal Government Clients.
