This hands-on technical role will be a part of friendly and dedicated team responsible for the design, expansion and management of our cutting-edge Windows and Virtual infrastructure, including storage, backup, automation, build and deployment mechanisms as well as monitoring tooling. With great variety of projects and BAU there will be plenty of interesting activities to work on and collaborate with our experts in APAC, Europe and U.S. What you’ll do Contribute to all phases of infrastructure growth, from collecting requirements and creating a design all through to hands-on implementation you will have a chance to master skills in multiple areas. Ensure solutions are effective, fast and reliable. We do care about end-to-end performance so your keen eye for detail will be at the right place. Go hands-on with all the fantastic tech we have by visiting and performing occasional physical work in datacentres. Be expected to occasionally complete required changes during non-business hours with generous time-in-lieu arrangement. Interact with SIG technology community globally to build and maintain great variety of modern systems, including advanced trading infrastructure. A degree in a technical discipline or equivalent industry background IT engineering experience specialising in Windows technologies Hands-on skills with server and related hardware in datacentres Support and troubleshooting of VMware and Citrix environments across APAC Good scripting skills in PowerShell Practical experience with Active Directory, GPO, server build systems and CI/CD tools Solid understanding of OS and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, CIFS) Practical experience with Active Directory, Windows build systems and configuration management Great problem-solving ability and root cause analysis Experience with NetApp, Pure and SAN switching will be highly beneficial Excellent collaborator, hands-on and enthusiastic Good to have skills Professional experience in financial organisations System performance optimisation, both hardware and OS Experience with Enterprise Backup systems, SQL clustering, DFS and DSC Practical scripting experience with REST APIs Experience app troubleshooting tools such as procexplorer, perfmon, Windows Performance Analyser, xperf and netmon What’s in it for you Our flat hierarchy enables you to drive meaningful impact, by leveraging your expertise and taking ownership.
