Report directly to the Group CTO who will give you autonomy and empowerment to drive the company's ML roadmap and journey. Full time WFH opportunity - offices in each state should you want to come in. Open to candidates anywhere in Australia. 2 direct reports. $190,000 - $200,000 superannuation 15% STI. Your new role Reporting to the Group CTO, you'll be hands on and will: Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and services to address business challenges and opportunities; Mentor and coach a small team (2), providing guidance and support in machine learning techniques, best practices, and tools; Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables; Conduct thorough analysis of large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify patterns and trends; Design and optimize machine learning pipelines and workflows for training, testing, and deployment of models in production environments; Evaluate and integrate third-party machine learning libraries, tools, and frameworks to enhance model performance and efficiency; Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning research, technologies, and methodologies, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and organization; and Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics, and drive machine learning roadmaps. Your skills and experience We'd love to hear from you if you have: Strong experience designing and implementing machine learning solutions in real-world applications; Demonstrated experience in machine learning, deep learning and data-based algorithm development; Extensive programming skills in Python; Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, NLTK, spacy, scikit-learn, pandas and NumPy; Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing; Preferably experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS; Experience with databases such as SQL and SQLite; and Extensive written and verbal communication skills. You must have the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders and have the ability to explain complex/mundane mathematical and computational concepts to business stakeholder in layman terms.
