We are currently looking for a Brisbane-based Senior Control System Engineer - Industrial. You will be performing a range of activities in the Power team in South Queensland and across the Business. The duties will include supporting with identifying opportunities, development of proposals, winning work and delivering of projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Playing a key role in the opportunity pursuits, design and delivery phases of Heavy Industrial Electrical Design projects Providing technical inputs including design oversight, project planning and coordination to a diverse range of multi-disciplinary projects Conducting design reviews and checks to identify and rectify any potential issues, ensuring high-quality design deliverables Communicating effectively with clients to present design concepts, progress, and recommendations, addressing any concerns and fostering a positive client relationship Providing mentorship and guidance to Design Engineers and Drafting team members. What you will bring to the team: A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering/ Control Systems Engineering). Hold and maintain chartered status, e.g. RPEQ, CPEng or equivalent, or working towards A minimum of 5 years of experience. Including leadership in control systems engineering, project delivery, and client interaction within a consultancy or similar environment Experience working as Control System Engineer in large scale renewable projects BESS Wind Farm Solar Farm and Substations Experience in delivery of the energy projects as a consultant Experience in leading proposals for power projects Ensuring electrical regulatory, statutory and site standards compliance for control system design Strong understanding of control theory, feedback control systems, PID controllers, and related concepts Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations (e.g. ISO, IEC) related to control systems Proficiency in Power Plant Controllers (PPC) and SCADA Proficiency in control system of large scale microgrid systems Proficiency in grid connection and interface with control systems.
