Heston MRO was branded back in 2018 after a purchase from another company that had been around for over 20 years. From then on, we put our heart and soul into building 2 products, the MRO for our customers and our culture for our employees. Heston MRO focuses primarily on line maintenance, but recently we have pushed forward and continue to develop our projects unit of the business, along with our engine on wing/ off wing business unit. Our Company is located in all major airports around Australia and a couple of seasonal locations such as coolangatta. Each of our locations are headed up with one of our experienced Station Maintenance Managers to support their engineering crews that work hard to keep the air network flying. Our Head Office, where all of the back-end work happens, is located in Brisbane just a stone's throw from the airport precinct. What Are We Looking For? Our Melbourne station is seeking a B1 Licensed engineer that holds 2 or 3 of the below type ratings to assist our station in line maintenance operations. Our shifts at Melbourne are days and afternoons only, at present, there are no night shifts. If you have 2 or more of the following, we may be able to offer a full time position, but we also encourage those looking for casual opportunities to also apply:- A330 (CF6), (T700) B777 (GE 90) A380 (T900) A350 B787 (GEnx), (Trent) What Does Success Look Like? You will be an Australian Resident or Citizen or Australia You will hold an Australian ASIC or be eligible to apply for one You must have a MEL driving licence, or be able to get one We are open to sponsoring those foreign licence holders if you have 3 or more of the above type ratings on your EASA, CASA, UKCAA or HKCAD licence and if you have started the RPL process to CASA.
