GHD's Contract Administration team has a reputation of being industry leaders and well respected for our professional approach and integrity in delivering services to DTMR and other Clients. We are currently working on a major road upgrade on the M1 Motorway, in Burleigh Heads, currently being constructed under the Transport Infrastructure Contract - Construct Only (TIC-CO) Conditions of Contract, with amended commercial model. GHD has been commissioned to provide Contract Management services for the project and has been appointed Administrator for the Contract. The Senior Project Engineer will be part of a broader site-based GHD team of 12 staff and you will report to the Administrator's Representative. Responsibilities include: Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Providing support to the Administrator's Representative regarding Contract specific management and reporting as required. Attend meeting as requested by the Administrator's Representative, prepare and issue minutes. Prepare monthly quantity forecasts and estimates in coordination with other Project Engineers and Administrator's Representative. Update the project risk register on a monthly based and assess forecast final cost and required contingency. Prepare the Administrator's monthly report to TMR in coordination and collaboration with other team members. Working with other Engineers and Inspectors to ensure adequate field records, including agreed measurements are available to validate valuations of claim and variations and assessment of extension of time claims. Assess, validate, discuss and negotiate cost and time claims. Coordinate with the Project Planning Engineer, regular program updates, assessment of progress and delays. Assess monthly progress claims, coordinate with other team members to process and prepare payment certificates for the Administrator's Representative's approval. Maintain contract administration database modules relevant to responsibilities. Work collaboratively with the wider project team and uphold the relationship management charter. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with project team, including the Contractor, Client's representatives and other Stakeholders. Support the CA Team as and when required to ensure GHD delivers on its obligations under the contract. What you will bring to the team Civil Engineering qualifications acceptable to Engineers Australia. TMR prequalification level of SEC02 or higher is desirable. Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry. Experience in TMR specifications and general conditions of contracts. High level of interpersonal and communications skills. Experience in commercial management of infrastructure projects is desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of packages. Ability to work effectively as part of a high performing team. Interested?
