About the Opportunity: We are partnering with a well-known Newcastle structural design consultancy seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to join the growing team. In this dynamic role, you will act as the bridge between the talented engineering and drafting team and their valued clients. The role will have a strong focus on small to medium-scale remedial, forensic, and insurance-based projects. Responsibilities: Some of the key responsibilities in this role will be: Act as the primary point of contact for clients like Strata companies, insurance companies, builders, and contractors, managing projects from inception to completion. Lead the preparation of comprehensive reports and technical documentation for remedial and forensic engineering projects. Assist in the development of competitive quotes and proposals for new business opportunities. Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, fostering trust and exceeding expectations. Represent the company at industry events and meetings with key stakeholders. Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage and coordinate the work of the engineering team for efficient project execution. Provide clear and concise communication to clients, both verbally and in writing. Requirements : The successful candidate for this role will have: Proven experience in project management, ideally within the structural engineering consultancy, construction, or building sectors. A bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering is highly regarded. A strong understanding of remedial and forensic engineering principles, with experience in building pathology and defect identification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse clients and colleagues. Experience in business development would be a plus.
