Join us as an Engineering Training Instructor In this role, you'll be pivotal in delivering consistent and timely training, focusing primarily on Technical Training for A320 and B787 Aircraft. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to support our Non-Technical Instructor in areas such as Human Factors training. The core responsibilities of this role are; Delivery of compliance and technical training needs to schedule Maintaining relevance / currency of training materials as per Quality Standards Working closely with our Training Coordinator and Training Developer to maximise efficiency of class time Ensuring all training reports are loaded into our Learning Management System (LMS) Implementing competency-based training assessments to measure performance / quality of training materials / programs. Be expected to deliver training's along the lines of Engine Ground Runs, Towing, Borescope Inspections, Working Safely at Heights, A CAT, Documents and Procedures Actively support the facilitation of Technical Training through Subject Matter expertise, knowledge and skills obtained as a former Licensed Aircraft Engineer, particularly licensed on type A320 and B787. Actively support our Training Developers in ensuring current practices and procedures are recorded in the training content and are processed through the appropriate approval channels. Be able to take initiatives to read and keep knowledge and skill levels current to meet the needs to ensure accurate practices/procedures are delivered during every training. Provide Learning and Development expertise, professional guidance and ongoing support. Promote a consultative and collaborative approach to training plans by establishing a strong internal network. Collaborate and work with the business and the training coordinators to ensure delivery of training as intended to the intended audience. Assist and support the training coordination requirements as needed. Help pre-plan training facilitation calendar for a year in advance. Ensure minimal cancellations of pre-booked training sessions. Be able to support and act as a back-up for the Non-Technical Instructor. Work alongside our other Training Instructors within the business to enable best practice sharing. To be considered for this role, ideally you will have: Relevant tertiary qualification preferred, Cert IV in Training & Assessment Must hold Aircraft License on Type - A320 and B787 Minimum 5 years' experience as an instructor preferred Ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a team environment Self-motivated, proactive, and able to deal with ambiguity, complexity and confidential information Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and think both critically and strategically Exceptional written and verbal communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
