Highly competitive salary The Company Our client is a national civil engineering and environmental services provider. They are looking for a Traffic Engineer to be based in Adelaide. The Position Our client is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join their traffic and transport team and use their expertise in designing and detailing all aspects of their infrastructure projects. You will become part of a tightly-knit team that values professionalism, technical and collaborative excellence, while supporting the company's multidisciplinary approach, ensuring that all clients receive optimal solutions. As an experienced Traffic Engineer joining the Traffic and Transport Team, you will play a crucial role within a group of highly skilled specialists. The Role Collectively, your team handles the following tasks: Provide advice and services in traffic engineering and transport planning for various projects, mainly in South Australia but with national opportunities. Manage traffic and transport projects within Local Government Program. Create proposals for traffic and transport projects. Conduct thorough investigations into traffic issues and confidently develop solutions. Prepare and present reports, studies, designs, and strategies related to traffic engineering and transport. Participate in road safety audits and associated investigations. Cultivate and strengthen client relationships. Enhance industry presence by active participation. Collaborate with different disciplines within company and allied consulting practices. Facilitate knowledge transfer and mentorship to enhance team capabilities. Stay updated on industry standards, guidelines, and innovations. The Candidate: Possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in the traffic and transport sector. Hold membership in MIEAust, or be eligible for Engineers Australia membership. Demonstrate adeptness in report writing and communication. Have prior experience collaborating with Local Government entities. Exhibit familiarity and proficiency in applying pertinent legislation, codes, practices, and standards. Possess a thorough understanding of road safety protocols and safe system principles.
