One of our esteemed clients, a renowned leader in the Australian steel industry, is currently in search of a dedicated Project Engineer to join their dynamic team at their manufacturing site in Adelaide. The Role Key Responsibilities Include Oversee and assist with engineering deliverables for procurement and installation of existing and new Mill equipment Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and site teams to ensure project timelines are met Liaise, communicate and coordinate with operating plant personnel regarding any interactions or decision points Monitor project activities to achieve project milestones and make timely decisions Experience RequiredWe are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience: Tertiary education in an approved discipline such as science, engineering Demonstrated ability to lead project activities in a brownfield site, including proficient timeline management Proven capability to lead and manage safety initiatives effectively Track record of involvement in change management including stakeholder engagement, consultation, negotiation and influence Experience in Mechanical, Automation, or Electrical engineering Proficiency in procurement processes and competitive tendering Experience working with multi-discipline teams in an industrial environment. Strong team and organizational skills. Desirable experience in Microsoft and CAD/Inventor (Drawing) applications.
