Highly competitive salary The Company Our client is a national civil engineering and environmental services provider. They are looking for a Water Engineer to be based in Brisbane. The Position Our client is seeking multiple experienced Water Engineers to join their hydraulic engineering team and be responsible for network modelling, infrastructure planning and detailed design of water and wastewater networks. Your technical expertise in network modelling and planning will enable the efficient design and delivery of infrastructure required to support growing communities. The Candidate: Hold a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Possess 5-10 years of experience specializing in water and wastewater network modeling, planning, and design. Candidates with or working toward RPEQ certification would be highly desirable. Demonstrate expertise in network planning and hydraulic modeling for both pressurized and gravity systems in water and wastewater networks, as well as experience in designing complex infrastructure such as pump stations and trunk mains. Competent in software tools like InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWorks ICM, or other relevant network modeling software such as WaterGEMs. Provide specialized technical support for various projects to facilitate the delivery of water and wastewater initiatives. Show dedication to delivering outstanding service to clients. Apply and disseminate technical knowledge of industry standards, including SEQ Code, utility-specific standards, and WSA guidelines, for project deliverables. Contribute to enhancing the knowledge and technical proficiency of the Water team.
