Do you love building, maintaining and modifying code for software applications? What will your typical day look like? As a Consultant in our Cloud & Engineering practice, you will be responsible for interpreting specifications, technical designs and flow charts for our clients. In designing, developing and maintaining software applications, you will execute test cases and identify and report defects for resolution. You will need to debug and correct these errors within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with peer developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software. This role will see you use large datasets to assess user experience, user behaviour and application performance and derive additional requirements to align the business with emerging trends. We improve their agility and resilience and identify opportunities to optimise their technology usage. You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar Experience with UI and API test automation and performance testing Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ and others Experience with software development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Deloitte?
