Position Overview: We are currently undertaking Expression of Interest applications for Lead Mechanical Engineers who are interested in future opportunities located in Brisbane and Melbourne . Mechanical Engineering Lead’s are responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of mechanical engineers. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the mechanical engineering team. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering. Foster innovation and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes. Project Management: Develop project plans, set milestones, and ensure project timelines are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. Team Management: Mentor and develop a team of mechanical engineers. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth. Foster a collaborative and positive working environment. Key Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in mechanical engineering within either of the following – green hydrogen / ammonia / decarbonization or LNG projects. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and team management experience. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
