The Opportunity: In your role as the ICT Systems Architect, your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of the contracted outcomes for the JP500 project. Additionally, you will work towards enhancing the reputation of the KEY-team brand with the client and maximsing business growth opportunities within the MSP’s operational guidelines. Your responsibilities will also include close coordination and alignment with other EWIS-JP Projects and collaboration with the capability manager to achieve overall success. Responsibilities: Creating ICT architecture documentation to back the Phase 2 data management system Support the review of the data management use case analysis through the provision of your technical knowledge in order to identify possible implications to the project Collaborate with key stakeholders like CIOG and DSSC to deliver the final data management system Oversee the development and deployment of ICT policies and procedures relevant to the project Demonstrate proficiency in coordinating with a variety of stakeholders, including those in Defence and national partners Engage collaboratively by fostering effective relationships with the team and by actively participating in group tasks Execute additional tasks as directed by the IWP Lead, Project Manager, or Program Director Assist the Commonwealth in managing the delivery of security certification and accreditation documentation for ICT systems Resolve issues by examining and generating ideas though analysis of alternative courses of action and their implications Draft correspondence, briefings, and reports as required including submissions and documents for higher level delegation and committee review Review technical and design packages, encompassing scoping, planning, assessment, and providing recommendations for the implementation of actions Verify that delivered materials align with the requirements and comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks, offering suggestions and aiding in the implementation of actions Oversee the safety considerations of Defence materials systems and integrate them into engineering activities Coordinate workflow and resources, develop work area and team plans outlining measurable milestones and anticipated results What you bring: Hold an active Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) AGSVA Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) – Mandatory Tertiary Qualification in Engineering from an Australian Institution, or qualification gained elsewhere that satisfies the requirements of the Washington Accord for recognition as a Professional Engineer Prior Defence experience (ADF, APS, Contractor) Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) Ability to communicate effectively and engage with stakeholders at numerous levels Demonstrated track record of being able to work both independently and as part of a team under broad direction Extraordinary problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on ICT / Engineering critical thinking Location: RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA (on site 4 days a week dependent on network access and role requirements) The client is an equal opportunity employer and are dedicated to providing an inclusive and diverse working environment.
