About the role As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a critical role in managing deployments, ensuring security, and providing technical support for the platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain cloud infrastructure, implement best practices in cloud and application security, and drive continuous improvement in their development processes. Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure architecture, prioritizing security, compliance, performance, and resilience. Identify and resolve issues in production environments to ensure seamless operation and customer satisfaction. Implement best practices in cloud and application security for internal and external systems. Develop and maintain monitoring, auditing, and reporting frameworks to support security and compliance needs. Automate build, release, testing, packaging, and deployment processes to enable continuous delivery. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop major features for the platform and contribute to the knowledge base using Confluence. Skills and Experience: Extensive experience with AWS products and technologies. Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with Infrastructure as Code methodology and related technology stacks (Terraform, eksctl, AWS CloudFormation). Familiarity with CI/CD toolsets such as Jenkins and artifact repositories like Artifactory. Strong coding skills with Java, SQL, and Groovy, and experience with Java build tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle). Experience working with distributed source control systems like Git. Familiarity with Unix-based shell environments. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Experience working in an agile environment and a willingness to invest time in understanding the insurance business domain.
