Position Overview: We are currently undertaking Expression of Interest applications for Lead Civil Structural Engineers who are interested in future opportunities located in Brisbane and Melbourne . The Civil and Structural Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating all civil and structural engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. This includes planning, design and construction of structures and facilities within green hydrogen/ammonia/decarbonisation, and LNG projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead a civil and structural engineering team, offering guidance, mentorship, and support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate civil and structural components into project plans. Oversee design concepts and ensure compliance with codes and standards, conducting rigorous analysis to ensure safety and integrity. Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Implement quality control measures and review engineering documentation to uphold standards. Provide leadership to civil structural engineers addressing any challenges and collaborating with teams to find solutions. Foster communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, ensuring project requirements are met and approvals obtained. Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and promote innovation within the engineering team. Skills & Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Extensive experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on project leadership. Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
