About the role Intellect Systems are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team in Canning Vale. We have been awarded several great projects that require a Project Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Engineer will work closely with other team members, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure that all project objectives are met. Responsibilities: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets Coordinate project activities and ensure that all team members are working towards the same goals Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met Identify and manage project risks and issues Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and project team members Provide technical guidance and support to project team members Ensure that all project documentation is complete and up-to-date Participate in project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement Experiences and Competencies: 2 years switch room, switchboard and control panel manufacturing in a project engineer position 2 years relevant experience within the resources sector Strong skills with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word Experience preparing Progress Claims, Progress Reports, Variation Requests, Cost to Complete Forecasting and Commercial Letters Ability to work on multiple projects and concurrent demands simultaneously Tertiary Engineering Electrical Qualification or experience in switchgear sectors with either a panel / switch room manufacturer or electrical contracting firm is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with project management software and tools
