They are currently seeking a technical minded and detail-orientated Engineering Manager to join their team and contribute to their continued success. The Role Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Engineering Manager role is crucial in delivering technical insights, assist in strategic decision-making and drive business performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to contribute to the success and growth of the business. Key responsibilities include: Leading large, multi-disciplinary teams across various locations in Newcastle Conduct analysis and identify areas for cost optimisation and process improvements Manage organisational project planning teams and implement best practice strategies to enhance outcomes and deliverables Coordinate with internal stakeholders, recommending actions to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities Liaise closely with the Executive and Operations team to enhance company-wide systems, processes and procedures for the Engineering department. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 10 years experience leading and managing diverse, multi-disciplinary teams Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or equivalent Proven experience in a similar role A strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles Maintains and applies a broad understanding of financial management principles to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, present data across functions and to the leadership team Demonstrated expertise building and sustaining stakeholder relationships including experience communicating with influence, and negotiating effectively.
