About the Opportunity ASC continue to develop capability across the organisation as we continue to support across various programs of work including Collins Class Submarine Sustainment and Life of Type Extension (LOTE). Our infrastructure to deliver these programs must remain relevant, therefore we are seeking 2 qualified Infrastructure Engineers to join our team now. Responsibilities Coordinating and participating in design development meetings, safety in design meetings, risk assessments, security working groups, ICT working groups and equipment integration workshops with external stake holders, to establish requirements and scope of works for new site projects Defining the infrastructure requirements to enable safe and modern construction methodologies ideally in a maritime defence environment Producing and reviewing preliminary and detail design documents, including schematics, layout drawings, functional descriptions and mechanical specifications, for compliance with site requirements Reviewing construction drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with mechanical design documentation and specifications and standards. Checking site installation compliance with design drawings and specifications and identifying any risks and/or hazards Managing contractors on site, and ensuring all works are executed following site safety standards About you Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Mechanical) Project engineering / management on complex infrastructure program Evidential experience in applying WHSE regulatory standards in line with legislated Australian Standards and Codes of Practice Experience delivering technical projects within the industrial manufacturing or construction industry, or specifically Shipbuilding industry (highly regarded) Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
