The Role: Reporting to the State Product Manager, this is a key role where you will work closely with our Account Managers, Design Department and Production, to provide value engineering solutions to our Customers. Therefore attention to detail is a must and a strong creative streak will be an asset. Confidence when presenting or dealing with customers is also a key function of the role, and as such your ability to clearly communicate ideas and positively influence outcomes will help achieve outstanding results for all customers and key stakeholders. Further to this, your key responsibilities will be to: Develop innovative new products to market in conjunction with our Customers. Analyse the Value chain and recommend changes that will save Cost and add Value for our Customers. Undertake full review and rationalization of existing corrugated product range at Customer sites, with the view to provide cost saving and innovative value added solutions. Assist Customers with optimized carton design that will suit Automation and machinery requirements within the supply chain. Provide support to the Costing Department during the tender process and assist Account Managers with packaging machinery, carton design and machinery requirements What you will bring to the Team: Experience in a Technical, Quality or Design role within the packaging industry. Experience in the Flexographic Printing Industry An analytical mindset, with demonstrated history of identifying efficiencies and cost savings without compromising on quality. You will be highly motivated and capable of being flexible in a dynamic environment. Your ability to build strong relationships external and internal will be crucial to the success of this role.
