The primary goal of the Network Engineer is to ensure the smooth operation of the Superloop network in order to provide maximum performance and availability to all customers. The Network Engineer is responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining all devices and services within Superloop's global network. What will you do? Designing and implementing network infrastructure. Proactively monitoring network performance. Troubleshooting network faults. Adhering to all network security standards. Managing and maintaining network documentation and inventory. Collaborating with other business units where required. Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Adhering to all company policies. The ideal candidate will have: Degree in Telecommunications or related discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in a networking related role. Strong knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 networks. Strong understanding of ethernet switching technologies. Strong understanding of Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS). Strong understanding of IP routing and forwarding. Ability to work without supervision and in a team environment. Strong customer service ethic. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Sound project management skills. CCNP or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.
