Work options: Hybrid You will be a highly skilled and hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer to lead the development of a Connex replacement – Cards Transaction Switch in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Kubernetes or VMs, service mesh (Istio), Azure Kubernetes, Docker containers, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Jenkins. Knowledge of Harness.io is advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a robust cloud-based transaction switch system. Write and optimize basic algorithms to solve complex software engineering problems using Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services. Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure management and software application development. At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services. Proven track record of building and running applications in the cloud environment. Proficiency in service mesh architecture, particularly Istio. Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools.
