Due to current business opportunities, we are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join our fast-growing Water team. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and high-performing team of water professionals to deliver a range of significant projects for both public and private sector clients both locally and nationally. The salary for this role will be approximately $80-90K depending on experience. Responsibilities will include: The role will work alongside Senior Engineers and Technical Leaders, and provide assistance on water industry projects where required, to further develop understanding of civil engineering design, including: · Preparation of designs, technical reports and proposals to inform a variety of drinking water or wastewater engineering work in the initial planning, design, and construction phases of projects. · Working with other members of our team, you'll work on projects evaluating and selecting the best approach to solve our clients' challenges and planning and designing water engineering augmentations. · Contributing to multidisciplinary teams delivering major water and wastewater treatment systems. · Contributing to winning work and market-led innovative offerings. · You will work collaboratively with other team members to deliver goals and targets of the team, section and Performance Unit (PU). · Attend client meetings where possible to gain an understanding of the relationships that we aspire to maintain. · Be involved with the delivery of Water Infrastructure projects, from local projects to large international projects, including; feasibility studies, asset management, project/design management, detailed design and construction management. · Opportunities to be involved in Design Management and Project Management of Water Infrastructure projects. · Guiding, developing and mentoring other engineers. · Supporting business development activities and project proposals and tenders. · Working collaboratively with a team including on large-scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and programs. Here's What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 2-5 years' experience in the Water industry and consultancy environment Experience in the design management of 3 waters infrastructure projects is desired. Good knowledge of relevant industry related Standards and codes. Use and understanding of Civil 3D modelling software, 2D and 3D CADD software would be advantageous. Understanding of safety in design practices and processes. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. Jacobs. A world where you can.
