This Federal Government Agency is looking for a WebOps Engineer to deliver self-service tools enabling teams to deploy and monitor their own applications. Key responsibilities Work across multiple delivery teams to promote and enable DevOps practices. Deliver common infrastructure platforms and patterns for continuous delivery, automated deployments and robust monitoring. Build and operations culture, capability and processes within delivery teams to enable developers to effectively take responsibility for the operation of their services. Supports incident response, post-mortems and improvement Participate in multi-disciplinary team events as required Skills & Experience In depth experience in operating high-volume web applications in a cloud environment Strong track record delivering self-service tools to enable teams to deploy and monitor their own applications Excellent capability in using configuration management tools like Puppet or Terraform Extensive experience working with continuous integration tools – CI/CD Solid experience of networking concepts like HTTP, TCP/IP and TLS Deep knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Previous software engineering capability highly regarded Strong knowledge of cloud security best practice Strong understanding of modern cloud-native architectures Collaborative team player Outcome focused with a solution first mindset NOTE: Applicant must be an Australian Citizen with ability to obtain Baseline Clearance If you have the right skills and experience please apply now through the job board quoting JL598928 Balance Recruitment is committed to equal opportunity employment.
