SICE ANZ is currently seeking a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team based in Sydney. The position will work across cross-functional teams and oversee planning and coordination of testing activities for assigned subsystems within set testing phases. Duties involve: Preparation and execution of the nominated test cases. Working closely with Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Uploading defects on the defect management system. Working with stakeholders in order to obtain the expected result. Assisting the development & design teams with defect resolution. Supervise the completion of defect resolution and generate weekly reports. Review of testing documentation such as reports, evidence and/or test cases. Supervision of internal testing progress. Requirements The preferred candidate will bring the following: Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Software discipline OR equivalent experience (essential). Experience working graphical user interfaces (GUI) (highly desirable) Experience in software testing and commissioning roles. PLC/SCADA system architecture knowledge Understanding of software development life-cycle methodologies. Professional proficiency in MS Office Suite Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
