About the company Our client is a family-owned company that has been in business for over 50 years in the Transport and Civil Construction sectors. As they continue to expand their operations, they are now seeking a Junior Engineer to join their team in Darwin, Northern Territory. This position is based at the Darwin RAAF Base, so candidates will need to be Australian citizens to obtain full access to the site, as they will be required to escort visitors and workers who are on temporary passes. About the Role: You will collaborate with the current on-site engineer and the Project Manager to oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, coordination, and quality control. Additionally, you will assist in monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation measures. About You: Civil Engineering qualification required; Strong communication skills; Enthusiastic about gaining experience in civil construction; Genuine interest in relocating to Darwin; Enjoying outdoor activities is a plus; and Ability to work under hot and sunny conditions.
