Contour Personnel are a leading HR and executive search agency based in Australia and we are partnering with our client, a global technology innovation company specializing in software products services with over 30 years international experience. They are currently looking for Software Engineer with experience across retail, telecom and finance to work from their Melbourne based offices. Your main duties & responsibilities: Conduct Analysis and perform initial investigation and research Identify potential dev and test strategies, limitations and work arounds Develop Test and DevOps strategy Provide guidance for evaluation between different Dev, Ops and Testing tool kits across cloud consumption costing Advise to actively manage and reduce cloud billing Managed grooming sessions for user stories Develop Microservices and manage the Microservices code in Azure and GCP Develop and maintain API scripts for integration validation and for A\B testing activities Perform validations of the different lines of codes and IDs between functions Review API automation scripts from Quality engineer and testers of the team Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures for applications Your skills, qualifications & experience: Extensive software engineering and testing experience across retail, telecom and finance domains Number of years of IT business exposure for Retail domain for liquor in Australia including fulfilment process and Order lifecycle systems Strong working knowledge of Microsoft AX and Search engine systems such as FredHopper Ability to manage stakeholder relationships – internal team, client, business testers etc. Strong understanding of DevOps, executing API scripts, API Automation scripts and test automation framework Hands on experience in performing functional testing, data integration testing, cross browser testing, mobile, UI and accessibility testing.
