As the Senior Backup Engineer you will work with the business, management, peers and vendors to design, configure, and support enterprise backup and recovery services hosted in AWS, GCVE, Private Cloud and On-Prem. You will be focusing on Cloud Based workloads and finalising the migration from legacy backup platforms to the Commvault solution. The day will range from designing new Public Cloud patterns for customers to deploying Commvault agents into, managing overall system capacity, integrating with a new observability platform and designing new infrastructure to deploy into GCVE and integrate with the Google Cloud Platform. You will be part of team providing customer support and product configuration, delivering against roadmaps aligning to business and IT strategy and responding to support escalations. You will ensure root cause and resolutions are identified and documented. What you offer Experience configuring the Commvault Data Protection and Recovery suite Experience with AWS components and using Commvault to protect RDS and other AWS workloads Experience managing Commvault software on both Linux and Windows platforms Using Commvault to backup one or more of the following traditional database platforms Sybase Oracle MSSQL Strong track record in working in a customer focused, dynamic, highly complex organization, responsible for operations and/or process execution Understanding of network dependencies, implications, and requirements needed for all backup/restore operations.
