121212 Month Federal Government Contract Canberra, Hybrid role, Allara Street NV1 clearance required Our Client is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join their Cyber Security and Networks Branch within their Information Management and Technology Division to deliver Engineering and Administrative services for security infrastructure tools and platforms. To fulfil the responsibilities of the role, the successful candidate must be able satisfy the following selection criteria: Minimum three years' experience in a cyber security field. Experience maintaining SPLUNK infrastructure , or experience managing a similar product. Demonstrated knowledge of log ingestion from hybrid hosting platforms, including Azure and Amazon Web Services . The ability to work well and share knowledge within a team. Well-developed writing. Current NV1 security clearance . Technical tertiary qualifications, Microsoft or Splunk certifications are highly desirable. Experience with Linux systems is desirable. An in depth understanding of current cyber security techniques, threats and vulnerabilities and the ability to apply this knowledge to mitigate cyber security risks.
