Project Engineer required for ongoing project work at Mount Weld, WA - FIFO from Perth. Our client is a 100% Aboriginal-owned provider specialising in surface mining and earthworks. They have the largest privately owned fleet of surface miners and trenchers in Australia, catering to mining, renewable energy, and earthworks projects nationwide. Position: Senior Project Engineer Location: Mount Weld Commencement: ASAP Duration: Minimum 3- 6months with opportunity to extend Pay rates: $100 - $120ph based on experience Responsibilities: Manage and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline. Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Provide technical expertise and support to project teams. Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations as required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Proven experience in project management, preferably in surface mining, earthworks, or related industries. Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
