Roster: 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth Reporting to: Superintendent Electrical & PCS Engineering We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer Specialist to join our team and contribute to both the maintenance of fixed assets and the execution of replacement capital projects. As a specialist in electrical maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems within our mining facilities. Additionally, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of capital projects aimed at upgrading and replacing electrical assets. Key Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and guidance to onsite electrical maintenance teams, facilitating troubleshooting and rapid resolution of electrical issues to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute electrical engineering projects, including the installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems in the fixed plant environment Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational productivity Develop and review engineering documentation, such as technical specifications, drawings, and operational procedures, to maintain accurate records and support the seamless operation of fixed plant electrical systems Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, providing regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within the specified timeframes and financial parameters Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions and best practices to enhance the overall performance and sustainability of the mine's electrical infrastructure Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance within mining industry Previous experience in project management, with a focus on replacement capital projects essential Demonstrated expertise in conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective maintenance strategies. Proficiency in SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
