We have an opportunity for a Voice Communications to join our team based in Melbourne to work on a large scale state infrastructure project. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with entry level experience to up-skill and progress their career to the next step. As a Voice Communications Engineer you will be responsible for: Maintain and update design of the Voice Communication System. Technical and commercial requirements review and analysis. Ensuring the design and related reports meet the quality standards. Review of the scope of the design work according to the contract. Review of vendor’s specifications, technical information, data sheets, quotes, etc. System implementation, configuration, testing and commissioning. Interfacing with other project teams and external information and documents. Requirements The preferred candidate will bring the following: Tertiary qualifications in telecommunications, IT, electronic, electrical engineering or a related discipline. Knowledge of network communications protocols including SIP, TCP/IP. Strong configuration and troubleshooting skills in IP PBX Platforms, Unify Openscape experience is highly desirable. Previously experience in taking part in FAT, SAT and site commissioning activities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail. Good organisation and planning skills. Analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team.
