Job Description Role We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cloud Cost Modeling Analyst with a specific technical focus on customer usage within our Azure and private cloud. In this role, the Analyst will be responsible for analyzing customer cloud usage patterns and identifying opportunities for cost optimization for both a customer as well as infrastructure costs. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Azure services, cost management tools, and a strong background in financial analysis. Key Responsibilities Azure Cost Analysis : Conduct in-depth analysis of Azure cloud usage, expenditure, and cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost optimization and missed opportunities. Customer Usage Analysis: Analyze customer cloud usage patterns to understand resource allocation, utilization, and their impact on costs. Cost Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed cost models for Azure resources and services to support financial forecasting and budgeting. Recommendations: Provide recommendations for optimizing cloud spending, including rightsizing resources, reserved instances, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Cost Reporting: Generate regular cost reports and dashboards to communicate cost insights to management and project teams.
